Mitch Colapinto, Founder/Director, has shared his passion for surfing and knowledge of the sport with thousands of students during his 11 years as a surf instructor and 15 as an elementary school teacher. His expertise is supported by a well-trained group of instructors who share his enthusiasm for the sport of surfing. Significantly, Mitch and his staff are C.P.R. certified.

Each morning, your child will be met by Cola’s Surf Camp’s experienced instructors in beautiful San Clemente. Poche Beach is an excellent site with good waves, a sandy bottom, and a safe environment for learning to surf. In addition to the professional staff of Cola’s Surf Camp, there is an Orange County staff lifeguard on duty.

Each week your child will receive instruction in ocean safety and surf etiquette. Each day will begin with light stretching and warm-ups. Your child will also learn about ocean science topics, such as waves and tides, marine biology, coastal ecology, and beach profiles. All equipment will be supplied.

Cost: $350 per week / per child
9:00 am - 3:00 pm, Monday - Friday

$50 cancellation fee per participant. If canceling 3 weeks prior to the first day of camp, only %50 of the registration fee will be refunded. No refund will be issued if canceling 72 hours prior to the first day of camp.

Private lessons are available on the Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of each week. We offer a morning session from 10 a.m. -11:30 a.m. and an afternoon session from 12:30 p.m. - 2 p.m. Go to the sign up page to view dates. If you have any questions please e-mail Camille at cola4surf@mac.com.
