Our children want to be successful. They just don’t know how.

Our children want to know that someone cares about them.

The TUNSON LEADERSHIP FOUNDATION (TLF) is a non profit organization who’s purpose is to promote self empowerment and self efficacy among underprivileged and urban youth (students grades K-12), parents and young adults by providing educational programs that offer leadership-based curriculum in the form of camps, seminars, workshops and courses; as well as to provide funding to educators and administrators to complete community service based projects.

In addition to our Leadership programs, through the development of Community Centers, TLF will provide a cohesive support system for youth, parents and young adults, coping with issues such as peer pressure, ineffective interpersonal relationships, abuse, miscommunication, lack of academic achievement and poor nutrition and health.

The Community Centers will serve as a safe haven within impoverished areas, and will allow its patrons to participate in personal development programs that are centered around leadership principles and cohesive life skills, in an effort to create the “Leaders of the Future!”

TLF will award scholarships to help cover the costs associated with post-secondary plans including but not limited to:

1.Tuition for community colleges, vocational schools/programs, private colleges/universities, public colleges/universities and certification programs

2.Transportation, room and board for attendance at community colleges and vocational schools outside of the student's home area

3.Transportation, room and board for the parent/guardian to accompany the student to school programs including Parent Orientation, Family Weekend etc.

TLF will award monetary fellowships to educators (teachers and administrators) to cover the costs associated with the development and implementation of community service projects that foster student involvement and contribution towards addressing community issues.
