A couple days early but...

     Today I am thankful that 7 years ago today, Chad asked me to date him. Great idea, honey!

    Today I am thankful that our LORD sacrificed his life for us ugly sinners. How he did that, we will never know. We have only glimpsed that kind of love in our lifetimes.

    Today I am thankful for our families, who did everything they could to support us in what was the most unpredictable year. The hardest year. The best year. I’d never take it back but man, I’m glad we’re on the other side of it.

    Today, folks, I’m especially thankful for this smiling, ever moving and squirming, bottle-loving, social, mullet-wearing, strawberry blonde little boy. He has rocked our world with a new kind of love we didn’t know, scared us nearly to death when he entered this world sick, and has given us so much JOY. We are happy.
