Charles was born December 14, 1884 in Meadville PA. and died

June 7, 1959 in Brattleboro VT.  He was 1 of 6 children. His parents, W. Smith and Margaret J. Wagner were married on September 7, 1870. W. Smith was born April 3, 1848 and died September 22, 1890.

Charles married Katherine Hopkins on August 20, 1904 in Meadville, PA and divorced June 2, 1906. He then married Ruby on January 19, 1909 in Townshend, VT. Together they had 6 children.
