I Love to...

Is it too young?

Is it too young for a little boy be so attached to a little girl? Well Carter, all I can say, is smitten with Maddy.
Last Thursday was Carter’s first T-ball game, and Maddy is on the team. Carter came shouting for joy when he saw Maddy on the field.
During the game Maddy and Carter kept hugging each other, practically tacking each other to the ground. (I am kicking myself for forgetting the camera)
There are so many kids out in the field that catching a ball is a big deal. during his first game of the night Carter came crying to me, so upset, because he hadn’t caught a ball. Well, during the second game Maddy came up to me and say that Carter was going to catch a ball for HER :) I just smile and told her that that was great. Well, little did I know that when Carter finally caught his ball he was trying to hand the ball over to Maddy but the coach intervened and turned him around and told him to throw the all to first base (I am kicking myself for forgetting the camera). Poor Maddy was distraught and was crying because Carter wasn’t able to give her the ball. :)
The whole night was hilarious, next time I am taking my video camera. But even then I’m not sure if that will do it justice.

Wow! How my babies have grown. Carter was probably about Devin’s age now in this picture. Now, Carter’s getting ready to go to kindergarden and Devin thinks he can do anything Carter can, both always getting into trouble :)

T-Ball

Carter had his first t-ball practice and he LOVED it! It was so much fun watching the kids run around, try and catch the ball. At times it looked liked football since they all would run for the baseball and end up tackling each other to try and get to it first.
I felt bad for Devin, I know he wished that he could be out there to play as well. :(
Carter’s first game is next week! It will be interesting to see how the Dragons (our team name) do. I will have to make sure I find something fun for Devin, especially since it will be a double header.

Hooray! I finally got my scanner to work! With that I thought it would be fun to show some old pictures of Jake and I. I tried to find pictures of all of us around the same age :) I think my boys look a lot like me if I do say so myself (and jake too). ???

President’s Day Weekend

Jake doesn’t get a lot of time off so when he does I am loving life. The weather was perfect, and we were all together so we thought a day/picnic at the park would be fun. Devin and Carter just LOVE there Daddy (they do have the best Daddy in the world). It’s these little things in life that makes life so good! Wow, I am one Lucky girl!!
