McLeer is currently in his Sixth season as Artistic Director of Remarkable Theater Brigade, founded by Christian, Monica Harte, and Dan Jeselsohn. Recently they had great success with their 6th major production, Glory Denied, an opera by Tom Cipulo, at Jan Hus Church in New York City in May 2008.
Christian is the artist in residence for the National Chorale at PS 70 and IS 71 where he teaches chorus. Christian is the accompanist for the National Chorale at the Fort Hamilton H. S. Community Chorus Program. He is also the contemporary composer in residence at Brooklyn Tech H.S.
Long Island Songs CD:
McLeer has recorded 4 of his compositions for Soprano and Piano with Monica Harte. The CD also includes Tom Cipullo's famous song cycle Long Island Songs as well as classical works by the renowned jazz composer, Anne Phillips, and the internationally acclaimed electroacoustic composer George Brunner. The CD will be released by MSR Classics Record Label.

Christian has just completed the original score for the short independent film “in between” written and produced by Gail Bell.
60X60:
Christian’s composition “Black Lungs” has just been released on the Vox Novus 2006-2007 60X60 CD featuring composers from all over the world.
Tempest Project:
After the success of McLeer’s composition “Ariel’s World” this past March 2008 at Brooklyn College during the Electro-Acoustic Festival, The piece will be featured on a CD along with several other prominent composers of Electro-Acoustic music including Douglas Cohen and George Brunner.
Natchez Opera Festival
This past April/May, Christian had great success as Musical Director in 21 performances of his Musical “G Train” for the Natchez Opera Festival in Mississippi. Monica Harte was The acclaimed Stage Director for the educational outreach and the Natchez Opera House performance. Christian and Monica also gave a well received performance at the Monmoth Plantation including music by Christian and George Brunner.
