She was kind enough to interview both of us while we were out in Providence for the Rhode Island International Film Festival. Friday night the Newport Beach Film Festival announced it’s list of winners. Among them was The Village Barbershop’s own Shelly Cole who was given a much deserved award for outstanding performance in acting for her role as Gloria. To see the complete list of winners click here.

In conjunction with the Newport Beach Film Festival, Moving Pictures Magazine is kindly publishing filmmaker stories about their projects. Ours is called “Escaping the Drawer” and you can check it out here if you’ve got five minutes to kill and were curious how the whole thing came about.

I’ve been a tardy blogger, but I wanted to announce our selection to the Santa Cruz Film Festival. The film will be playing Sunday May 11th at 9:15 pm at the lovely Del Mar Theater. Personally, I can’t think of a better way to celebrate Mother’s Day, than by bringing mom to a somewhat late evening movie. Ticket and hotel information is available here.
