The Inter Lions U10/1's have been crowned Kanga Cup Champions in the Boy’s under-10 Cup after beating Northbridge FC 1-0 in the Final. This is the second consecutive year the team has made the trek down to Canberra to enter the Tournament, with both times walking away with the winners trophy.
Whilst the Lions were always looking like the team of the Tournament to win it, having scored 29 goals and conceding none in their previous six games, the ten year olds had to dig deep for a last minute goal in the final to seal victory over Northbridge, who are also based in Sydney.
Congratulations to all the boys and their parents for a fabulous week of total football.
