Clive and Tensing (the cat) look forward to welcoming you to Gothic House
Gothic House, set in a quiet courtyard, is situated in the heart of the historic part of Norwich. Within a short distance there is a wealth of elegant Georgian architecture as well as buildings dating from much earlier times. Also, the cathedral and famous Elm Hill are barely more than five minutes walking distance away.
Gothic House is a Grade II-listed building and was built in 1820 (reputedly by a wealthy merchant as a hideaway for his mistress!) The house has been fully refurbished and redecorated and is a completely non-smoking environment to ensure your comfort.
Gothic House is situated in a gated courtyard and there are car parking spaces available. We are also a short taxi journey from Norwich station. Being located close to the heart of the city there are a large number of restaurants nearby for evening meals.

From Easter 2010 the room rates are:

Contact Gothic House for special weekend deals and mini-break rates for longer stays. By arrangement we can occasionally organise a guide for walking tours of Norwich or other special events.
From the 26th January to the 12th February Gothic House will be closed for refurbishment. I regret that I will be unable to deal with booking enquiries during this time.
