The purpose of this page is to provide my students and parents at Thomas Jefferson High School   (Go Patriots!) with information about the classes I teach, reference materials, cool articles and facts, basic information, assignments and extra credit opportunities.....as well as many other things that might help promote success in my classroom. 

One reason I wanted  a website, is because; like most of you, I am sometimes on the computer late at night; and I like to find new things and learn stuff (when I’m not playing games!).  I think my students do the same things-when they’re not on MySpace!   I wanted to create a website that was informative, interesting, and useful.

  I also want to provide a place for my students to learn things about themselves and the world around them; which is basically what I teach every day in my classes.  I often refer to my classroom as “My House” because I spend so much time there-think of this website as an extension of “Ms. Mitchell’s House”.  Have a look around.  Este es solamente un espacio pequeno de me casa ...Bienvenido....Welcome.
