Disney on Ice

With one of those last minute decisions, I bought tickets for the girls and I to go to Disney on Ice. I just LOVE Disney and all the fun things that they do. This event included, Cars, Ariel, Lion King, and Tinkerbell.

We visited the princesses before the show (nothing at all like meeting them at Disney though). The lighting was not good so these were the best shots I could get.

Weeki Wachee Springs

We are back from our short trip to the west coast of Florida. We headed off Tuesday morning after Patrick worked ALL night..... we went straight to Weeki Wachee Springs, a Florida state park which is the only park that has a live mermaid show.

Besides the mermaid shows, there was a boat ride down the river. Talk about crystal clear CLEAN water....

Alana’s Science Project

Alana had a Botany Science Project for school this year. We had fun planting seeds and watching them grow.

Alana planted Zinnias:

We watered them and then waited for them to grow.

Going for a ride

Patrick was outside working on something (as usual) and Lilliana asked if she could go for a ride on the motorcycle. Those words are not uttered that often, so daddy took full advantage of the situation. In fact, so did Alana and Jamison. Take a look:

Alana’s fifth birthday party was a success!!! Lots to do, food to eat and great friends! We had various games like “Jasmine says”

We even served lunch

Then, we played the princess and the pea (the girls had to determine which pillow had the “pea” in it)

Then we headed outside to the princess pinata

I was so thankful for GREAT weather (especially when there were 20 kids all together). The girls had a lot of fun playing outside:

Alana had her Great Grandma, Grandpa, Tee Tee, Auntie Wendy, Uncle Keith, Amy and Emily all at the party. Thank you so much for helping me bring all of the details together. I couldn’t have done it without you!

Good times with friends

The Allen’s drove down from South Carolina for a nice weekend visit. It’s always great to spend time with really good friends.

We introduced Isabella to the trampoline.... At first she was just lifting up one foot at a time

But it didn’t take her long before she started jumping

Of course she was sharing her time with Alana and Lilli. Here is one of my favorite ones of Alana:

McLean Christmas

CHRISTMAS!!!!! The McLean’s have an order of events for Christmas day - and it always starts with the Christmas stockings. Most of the stockings in this picture were hand made by my mom:

In each of our stockings is an ornament for something memorable that happened over the past year.....

After stockings is normally breakfast but due to the late start, we had already had breakfast and we went right into the picture taking of all of the grandchildren in front of the Christmas tree.

This pic is monumental in the fact that Emily joined the back row this year.... due to a little help from the heels.

Both Alana and Lilliana got fairy wings from Grammie for Christmas and there was NO WAY Lilli was going to take these things off for a nap...... So, she slept with them on!
