Since 2004 Bliss has developed into a sailing school and a resource for studying for the Small Vessel Operator’s Permit required of those who want to sail in Japan.

Bill’s Little Informal Sailboat School offers American Sailing Association certified instruction of basic sailing courses in Osaka Wan, Japan.  Instruction is in English and is more of a coaching format than group instruction.  Basic sailing instruction may be offered independent from ASA certification.  To learn about the ASA curriculum follow the Bliss link above.

The Juku offers study materials and resources to assist those who want to sit for their 2nd Class Small Vessel Operator Permit.  The Juku offers 4 essays directed at specific sections on the written and practical exam and 3 catalogs of exam questions which have appeared on past exams.  Juku also presents several pages of information the assists clients through the application process.  To learn about the these materials, follow the link above
