Every occasion I have to roominate with anyone about this place I do.  Located just East of Amsterdam on 74th Street, this bakery is almost overlooked, as it is just below street level.  Their cookies are TO DIE FOR.  As they say on their website...

They are not just cookies, they are an indulgent experience. We do not compromise. You are assured of receiving cookies made from the freshest, finest ingredients. (Of course, there are no preservatives or additives.) Each cookie weighs six ounces, almost half a pound - that's a lot of cookie! And we make four varieties:  Chocolate Chip Walnut, Dark Chocolate Chocolate Chip, Oatmeal Raisin, and Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Chip.

If you click on the COOKIE above, you can order them, but I would suggest that you simply go in an try one, or all four!!  That would be 2 pounds of cookie!

By the way, EVERYTHING else they bake is DELICIOUS.
