Hello world.  My name is Alex.  As you might have heard, I just completed a 9 month journey to get here.  You would think if someone is going to book you on a 9 month trip they would have the decency to book you first class accommodations, but I digress. 

I don’t have too much to say right now as my experience in this place is so new, but as I learn my way around I will update you on my progress from time to time.  I am particularly looking forward to finding a blanket.  As this new world I find myself in is MUCH roomier than the last place (I am looking at you, MOMMY!!!!), I find it to be quite chilly.

One thing I have learned is you are a violent people.  Upon arrival, I was immediately assaulted by way of a slap on my butt!  So now I must add a trip to my itinerary to your nearest police station to file a report.  This mad butt slapper must be stopped and I will not rest until the guilty party is brought to justice!  Until next time ....
