So said the late, obscure 2nd Century BC, Italian philospher and playright. Like Terance, the members of Little Italy Preservation Partners believe that, “Charity begins at home.” This means being a good neighbor, and in this respect, the $10 million investment we are making in twenty seven new townhomes will replace a long vacant lot and act as a gateway between Little Italy and the cultural institutions of University Circle. We also made a major investment in the 27 Coltman Design Centre, taking what was a long abandoned storefront between Gusto’s and La Dolce Vita, and turning it into a chic office for meetings and a gallery filled with local artisans’ works. In addition, the new families that 27 COLTMAN will bring to the neighborhood will help support the local merchants, restaurateurs, gallery owners and cultural institutions that make Little Italy/University Circle such a unique environment. Recognizing the financial challenges that many of the area’s nonprofit institutions are facing in the current economic times, we have initiated a Charitable Partners Program to encourage local philanthropy. Under the program, any charitable contribution made by a purchaser of a new Residence at 27 COLTMAN to a non-profit entity or entities in University Circle and/or Little Italy will be matched by the developers of 27 COLTMAN.

27 Coltman, Little Italy Preservation Partners recommends purchasers seek professional tax advice on the deductibility of any charitable contributions. Developers will match up to a total of $1,000 per Residence.
