Welcome to my blog and thanks so much for your interest in what is happening in my life as I get to live at an orphanage and work with a malnutrition program and a clinic in Haiti.  I’ll occasionally post journal entries, movie clips and of course... pictures!  Hopefully you will be moved to pray for Haiti and think of how maybe you can have a part in helping out the world’s poorest country in the western hemisphere.....

my top reasons to live in Haiti:


  1. 1.The kids at Canaan Christian Orphanage are SO cute (probably the cutest kids I’ve ever seen).

  2. 2.I get to help starving kids gain weight and a smile!

  3. 3.There are great friends and hammocks in Haiti!

  4. 4.I get to bring hope to the hopeless.

  5. 5.I can drink fresh coconut milk while working.
