Just wanted to quickly share some pix of my opening at Marty’s in Washington Depot, CT.

As you can see in the pic above, I showed some of my paintings, as well. This one is called “LIPS”.

This is Nicola, who works for the United Nations!  She bought “Bear at Bar”!

... and this is Davyne Verstandig, who runs the Litchfield County Writers Project and teaches at the University of Connecticut.  She has been a great creative comrade in arms and inspiration.  She’s a writer, poet, and painter herself, so we always have much to talk about.

...and here is a lovely friend of Davyne’s who bought one of my albums, bless him!  He’s an architect and a had a lot of interesting insights into art!

And a good time was had by all!  Thank God for Frank, who helped me hang all my work and soothed my nerves before the show.  Mr Peanut was well taken care of by a new friend who gave him some treats and kept him busy outside the cafe!

Nothing wraps up a day like ice cream!!  Mr Peanut likes vanilla with sprinkles...
