I think that is a good way to describe me / us as a family! BIG! As you can see from the pic, I am now 31.5 weeks pregnant! Belly is growing and Baby #2 is definitely a mover! I feel like my belly is constantly moving - so that is good! Hard to believe that I have nine more weeks to go - seems like so long, yet not long enough, all at the same time!
But all in all - feeling great!

And Gavin is HUGE! We had his 2 year check up this morning and he was so big that our Dr. had to get him a big boy growth chart as he was off the toddler chart! Can you believe that! He did so good this morning, he got the first mist of his H1N1 and one shot and hardly any tears! Such a big boy. So here are his stats:

Weight: 33.2 lbs (94%)
Height: 38.5 inches (100%+)

According to Dr. Milici - she said he would be about 6’ 3” by the time he was 18, and then if you go to BabyCenter.com - enter his stats at 2 and the height of Momma and Dada - they said he would be 6’ 8”!!! Yikes!

Either way - as long as he is happy and healthy we should be good! Love and Miss you all!!!

Hard to believe that it has already been two years! Our big boy turned two on Sunday - he is such a little MAN!

We had an interesting weekend... Grandpa told us on Friday he was going to drop in for a visit! Yeah! We went to one of Gavin’s classmates b-day parties, Cutie Caroline!!! We had our own little b-day party at the house - some cinnamon rolls and two candles! Opened some presents - new trucks and a new cool tool set from Nini & PawPaw!

And then... on Sunday, Greg, Dad and I all came down with a 24 Hour Bug that was HORRIBLE! So needless to say, Momma and Dada were not much fun on Gavin’s actual b-day, but we made it through!

I have to say that Gavin is just an amazing little boy! He is always so happy - even when he is sick - that little man is playing with everything and has such a smile on his face! He is such a sweet little boy too - will give you a big hug and a kiss and will even kiss your booboos! We can already tell that he has so much to say... much of it is still in his own little language, but it is not going to be long before we are getting his whole life story from him! He has started talking in full sentences and each day he puts more and more together - it is truly amazing to watch.

We are so lucky to have him in our lives, and I know that Greg nor I can now imagine our worlds without him! Hard to believe that in just nine short weeks, we are going to have another little boy to call our son!
So excited - Gavin is going to be such a great Big Brother!

Love You Gavin! - Momma & Dada

Darn!

We had a great trip to GB! It was so great to see everyone, as it always is! Grandma had way too many Christmas presents for us to open - I had to actually bring home two additional suitcases! We got in all of the staples - cards, poker, donuts, Fatzos and chip dip! Nummy!

Aunt Robyn came up to spend the weekend with us too - Uncle Greg had to work, so we missed him! Gavin even got to play with some of his cousins and go sledding with Grandma in the snow!

Overall - it was a great trip! We can’t wait to do it again, but realistically know that it will probably be a little while before we make that trip again! Boo...
But just think - the next time we do - we will be a family of FOUR! Love you all!

So Gavin got his big boy bed for Christmas... He was so excited to sleep in it that we actually took it upstairs the day after Christmas! Greg and I could not believe it, but he slept in that bed - NO ISSUES - for both his nap and bedtime! I was so worried about him getting out of his bed and trying to come down stairs - but he didn’t! Yeah!!! Big Boy Bed Accomplished!

So - that first night, I told Greg - you know, my only concern is that he is going to throw his head into his pillow and hit the edge of the bed... And what happened the second night at bedtime???

You got it - Gavin was so excited, he ran, jumped into his bed, and threw his head right into his pillow - and missed! It was the worst feeling in the world as a parent - he hit his head so hard, Greg and I felt HORRIBLE! Gavin just cried and we couldn’t do anything - no ice, nothing, just had to hold him! Needless to say - he had a little bit of a bruiser the next couple of days... We got up the next morning and made a trip to Home Depot to get pipe covers to put over the bed - and so far - we have not had any additional incidents! Whew!

And he still loves his Big Boy Firetruck Bed!

Gavin was way too busy to pose for the camera, but we got some good shots!

Love to all! Merry Christmas!
