Happy birthday to me! An awesome day and night of celebration with people I love made my birthday one to remember. My day started with a spectacular breakfast of bacon, eggs, fruit, Lucky Charms, and Starbucks coffee. A relaxing morning and afternoon was followed by a night out with friends. We started the night with a homemade Mexican dinner for 20 and pre-show entertainment. The dinner included everything from cheese fondue to a wide-range of mexican dips. At this point, I was basically eating my way through the decade transition.
Following dinner we went to a small theater to see the international show of “Defending the Caveman.” A one-man show about the trials and tribulations of relationships. Although it was a bit cliché it is a must-see for any couple out there. A learning experience, if you will.
Finally, after the show and buying a beer for the actor, we ventured over to another friend’s apartment to end the evening with cake, appetizers, and 80’s music to dance the night away. It was great because I was able to share my big day with someone else in our group. I was thrilled to share the light.

I can honestly say, I wouldn’t be here without the love and support I have received from everyone in my life. From friends around the world, who constantly keep me in line and are there when I need them, to family, who have always been there supporting me every step of the way. Thank you for loving, supporting, and praying for me. I am grateful for you.
