For newbies to my site, thanks for visiting! I started my blog in January 2005 to keep a record of our household adventures with triplet boys.

John, George, and James were born at 27 weeks weighing about 2 pounds a piece. This year they reached the 50th percentiles for weight and height. Every day we think about the nurses and doctors at MUSC’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and are so thankful for all of their care and love.

I am thankful every day as well for these boys and my wonderful husband, Will, but sometimes being the only woman in a houseful of boys makes me a little crazy. For evidence of this, click Blog and read on and know you’re not alone if you find yourself having to Febreeze the bathroom wallpaper or using pet stain remover and you don’t have any pets. If your clean laundry never makes it out of clothes baskets and you save energy by forgetting to replace light bulbs until they’re all out and it’s dark. Or if you’re constantly dehydrated because once the pot of coffee’s gone it’s not an unreasonable hour for a glass of wine. On the other hand, if your children never have runny noses and you manage to bathe them every day, click and read anyway and see what you’re missing.
