Lulu is a theme party-throwing, borderline shopaholic with a sincere appreciation for the culinary arts. She is passionately crafty with her accessories, her juke box play list, her guest list and, naturally, her menus, which tend to lean toward exotica-erotica desserts and the inclusion of a thematically-appropriate cocktail. Mostly, she loves a get-together with her favorite girlie-girls and as many fits of laughter as she can fit into any lively gathering.
These pieces, like my others are perfectly food-safe, make fabulous gifts and collector items and can also double as wall art if you so desire. Pieces are either circular or oval in shape and measure approximately 11” . Admittedly, Lulu lives originates from my formative years working with clay and I choose now to only create a handful of these pieces in any given year, so you may have to snag one when you see it available. No two pieces are the same; although the greater imagery components are repeated, the small details will change as well as the sayings that accompany each piece.
All Lulu pieces are $85 plus $17 for packing and shipping for a total of $102. Payment arrangements can be made by contacting Christy with your desired purchase request at xtbceramics@gmail.com.

Who the Heck is LuLu?
“A woman’s ecstasy is never farther away than a few phone calls, a snifter of Sambucca and a custom-tailored bell-bottom-bustier pantsuit.”
“Take the essence of sophistication, a dash of drama, a splatter of glamour, throw in an uptown feathered happy hat and get ready to groove.”
“I always say that a discerning dinner guest is best managed with high cocoa-content chocolate for the souffle´, imported Italian espresso and, yes, a triple layering of my 3 favorite lipsticks.”
“When it comes to dessert, never say ‘light,’ and when it comes to personal style, leave bashful and boring behind.”
“Let’s get a couple of things straight: The words ‘light’ and ‘dessert’ should never be used in the same sentence and a healthy Friday afternoon shopping spree requires no justification.”
