So this was long time coming and took a little longer then I would have liked it to but it seems like the site is now fully functional. I finally have the layout where I like it, I can now update it from my iPhone, I hooked up a Twitter account and I can also update that from my iPhone so that means more updates when I hear about them. I redid the site banner as well, again, it will work for now, im not 100% happy about it but im also not a graphic artist so I make do with what I got. Now the only way I can truly grow this site is with more staff and that has to be the next part of my focus.

Its taken a while but it seems like the site is finally beginning to take some traction. Recently, SonyRumors.net was submitted to Google and Yahoo search and that has stabilized a steady flow to the site. Granted the traffic is nothing to rave about, but its better then no hits. Now that the site seems to be taking some form, my next goal is to begin looking for a staff. Mostly, in the gaming arena. My goal for the site has never been gaming because frankly, there are many sites out there and many who have much more resources and can cover it better. Having said that, gaming is a heavy part of Sony and I would love to have somebody cover that on a more consistent bases, even if its merely for the sake of also offering the same news as others. That way, I can worry more about the site and begin a more focused direction for the site and advertise our name out there. Also, I can begin writing more pieces focused on Sony witch is the aim of the site. So if you would like to join the team, or know of anybody else who would like to, have them eMail us.

So here we go! After a few months of domain hunting and registering a blog and getting a server up and running and a workable design (and I say that because im always up from help from more talented people to make this site look even better and more user friendly) but it seems like things are now functional. Users can comment on News Stories, people can post on the Forums and video and picture file being posted is fixed.

So with that said, I have plenty of exciting stuff planned for the site beyond the news feeds and the forums as I hope to grow this into a functional community with information and functionality offered to you, the users and fans of Sony.
