Cold paddling!

It´s the third week of November and I can feel the winter is on it´s way. But it´s not difficult to choose paddle clothes. The drysuit, the paddle gloves and neoprene boots makes the paddling more safer and relaxing. As long as the ice is not covering the water I will continue paddling. Of course I enjoy this time of the year with the white-black contrast in the nature and the silence..

Preparations for New Zealand

It is only five weeks left until I leave for New Zealand. Except from daily work I spend a lot of time to train, put my equipment together and go through the maps. It´s a lot to do but interesting and energy giving..

Kanumesse

Now I have spent three intensiv and exciting days at the Kanumesse. Except from all meetings I also had the opportunity to see my sponsors Prijon and Hiko as well as a lot of other nice kayakers. At the end of this visit I enjoyed a day of white water paddling on one of Austrias impressing rivers.

The book about Norway

The thoughts have been there for a while. The thoughts about writing a book about my journey along the Norwegian coast 2005. And now I have found a publisher - that is willing to help me with that project. The name of the book will be ”Kajakäventyr längs norska kusten - ett äventyr i kajak med eftertanke” which means “Kayakadventure along the Norwegian coast - an adventure with reflection”. The book is about my solo paddling along the Norwegian coast and my thoughts during this journey but it will also contain a logbook, a list of equipment, maps and a lot of pictures of the Norwegian nature and culture. The book will be written in Swedish. But hopefully later on in English. This summer I will work on planing for the next journey. I will also work for Kajaktiv and enjoy as much paddling as possible.
