Barbara Freda: Food Writer/Recipe Developer

 
 

I came to the food writing and recipe development world after nearly ten years on the line of professional kitchens, including the early years of NYC's Union Square Cafe. In addition to restaurant work, I have catered events and taught cooking classes. I am currently food editor for Florida Table, a regional food magazine in southeast Florida. I also served as “Dining Expert” for VISITFLORIDA.com, blogging, writing and hosting videos about food finds in Florida. I test and develop recipes and round out my writing with travel and wine stories. Or, as I like to say, I suffer for my craft.
