Funny stuff, where has the MINI creativity gone?

Is it just me or is all the fun stuff MINI used to do, gone? Funny TV commercials like Counterfeit MINIs, the Bull dog sniffing Cooper tail pipe, Hammer & Coop, the “Hey Horn”, the “Bobby in America” and those wonderful billboards, all fun and well done.

While looking for a Friday Funny I came across the MINI Robot Myth stuff. You can actually buy, well try, the fictional Colin Mayhew’s website WWW.R50RD.CO.UK domain name here. I thought that would be a kick to own that domain name So I put in a bid of $150 and it suggested that wasn’t enough so I tried $300 and they, SEDO.com, wanted me to enter the bidding. I think I’ll pass.
