ARTIST’S STATEMENT “As an artist, I am constantly evolving. Each of my series offers a look into a milestone in my life, and they are different from one another. As I currently go through an introspective phase, I am now exploring masks and assemblage to create more 3-dimensional works, which is a departure from my body of work thus far. Teaching in my latest career phase has provided an unexpected inspiration to my own body of work, as I am constantly presented with new materials, while teaching and presenting the great works of master artists throughout history.
