Biography
Ardin Lalui is 27. When he was 26 he had some sort of breakdown that cost him his wife, daughter, home and job at a prestigious Edinburgh law firm. Up until then the moon had been in his pocket. After, he considered his life over. He found himself writing and traveling as a way to use up the leftover time.
Ramona is his first novel and appeared almost of its own accord while he was supposed to be creating only hangovers and regrets involving women. It is a novel about fate and guilt. Ardin is currently working on a second novel about the bitterness of large families and small towns. It is set in the South African town of Orania in the Northern Cape.
Ardin has written a couple of short stories, one of which appeared in the River Styx Journal, St. Louis, Missouri in April 2008.
