Here is a slideshow from an event that I photographed recently at Lowry Park Zoo. This is their annual Black Tie fundraiser and this year it took place in their new banquet facility which is totally awesome. It was a really cool event and it was a privilege to be part of it.

We are pleased to announce the arrival of Evan Philip Lockwood. He was born Friday at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater and came home with Mommy on Monday. We are all doing well - just a bit tired! Thank you for all the thoughts and prayers that came our way and we are so blessed to have another healthy boy at the Lockwood house!!

Ashley & Dave’s Wedding - February 28, 2009

So far this year has just been absolutely wonderful with some of the best weddings we’ve ever had the privilege to photograph. Ashley and Dave’s wedding ranks right up there with the best. Not only are they an incredibly good looking and photogenic couple but they are two of the nicest people you could ever imagine and come from great families. They pulled off a beautiful wedding at Ashley’s parent’s house on Clearwater Beach. Sarah Fairban was there to make sure every last detail was looked after and the wedding went off without a hitch. Thanks again for being so awesome guys!
P.S. Our 5 year old Ethan was a bit jealous when he heard that Ashley was getting married as he has been a bit infatuated with her ever since he was little!

This slideshow is from Tiffany and Jesse’s wedding that took place at two locations in January. They first had a church ceremony at Espiritu Santo and then on Saturday they had a beach ceremony at the Tradewinds. We previously had the privilege of shooting Tiffany’s sister Desiree’s wedding. It’s always wonderful to work with the same family twice as you already have an established relationship. You’ve probably received an e-mail from us recently in regards to our Spring Portrait Sale. We are trying to get the word out early this year in order to make sure we are able to accommodate everyone before the weather gets too hot and the summer storms begin to roll in. We are discounting our session fee from $225 to $99 through the end of March. The session can take place at the beach or a park whichever you prefer. This is also a great idea for a Mother’s day gift as May will be here before we know it. We also have a refer-a-friend promotion along with the Portrait Sale. You will receive 50% off the session fee if you refer someone to us who books a session as well. This slideshow is from Kristen & Cale’s wedding that took place at the Don Cesar a few weeks ago. Besides being one of our favorite venues the staff at the Don is absolutely wonderful to work with and Quinn did a great job as usual. Kristen and Cale’s family and bridal party was so much fun to work with and everyone had just an awesome time. Heather and Zack Hill covered the video side, Grant Hemmond kept the reception and dance floor rocking, The Bride’s Bouquet did a beautiful job with the floral and Chantilly provided a delicious cake! All-in-all we couldn’t ask for a more perfect wedding.

Here is a slideshow from Amy & Matt’s wedding that took place in Tampa at the Hyatt, Sacred Heart and the Tampa Club. It worked out great having the venues close by and we were able to walk with them from Sacred Heart to the Tampa Club which gave us some great photo opportunities as well. We shot Jessica & Clay’s wedding in May of last year and just finished up their album. I thought I would post a slideshow of the images that they picked for their album. Their wedding took place at Sacred Heart in Tampa with the reception at Palma Ceia Country Club. You guys were so much fun to work with!!! Okay, so I’m having so much fun with this new program that I couldn’t resist creating another slideshow for the blog. This slideshow is from Jessica and Brian’s Wedding that took place at the Vinoy on December 20th of 2008. Southtown Fever kept the reception rocking the whole time and the staff at the Vinoy was awesome as usual. Erika goes above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly. It was good to work with Elena again too!! The last post was a great wedding to start the new year with and Jessica and Brian’s wedding was a great wedding to end the year with! You guys were so awesome to work with!! Can’t wait to see your album too!!! Thanks for getting us ready to tackle the new year with a fun, high energy reception to end 2008!!!

Linnie and Craig’s wedding couldn’t have been a better way to start out the new year. We had such an awesome time with them, their family and friends. Everyone was so great to work with and there was an abundance of genuine emotion to capture. Okay, so it’s been a bit too long since I’ve posted to our blog. I’ve been working hard to get all of our albums finished before the holiday deadline. I thought I’d take a moment and share some more of my competition images that I’ve entered this year. I enjoy participating in print competition as a personal challenge to keep my work fresh. It also keeps me wanting to get images that I can compete with from every wedding and portrait session.

Rosemary and Tim’s Slideshow

Rosemary and Tim were married this past Saturday at Hyde Park United Methodist church with the reception at the Tampa Yacht & Country Club. Sarah with One Fine Day was their coordinator and as always was awesome to work with. Ian and Zoe from Botanica did the floral and of course it was unbelievable as usual. They had a band called The Maxx who kept the dance floor going all night and the Yacht club did an incredible job as well. Their cake was absolutely amazing and was made by Terry Stabler. We had such a great time working with Rosemary and Tim as well as their families. I hope you enjoy their slideshow.
