Grown up in the “Dutch Bible belt”, the stories from scripture, their characters, the drama, the words, myths, images, concepts and ideas speak a language that has formed and shaped me.

Preparing for worship I submerge myself into the bible every week and share my passion and my love for these texts with the people in my congregation. There always seems to be a bible text bubbling away in my subconsciousness somewhere, relating itself to the world around me as I go about my life.

I love living in a multi faith, multicultural society with permeable boundaries and be challenged to keep growing and changing.
