Jill Scott is my first pick for being a SIZE-MOLOGY Muse. A fellow Aries, and 2 years older than me, Jill is everything from a neo-soul and R&B singer-songwriter, poet, and actress. Plus she’s a Grammy Award winner 3 times over. So, deal with that.
She’s my choice this week because her acting will be featured on a new series starting on HBO: “The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency”. Which I will be tuning into tonight.
So why do I think she rocks? Well, just look at her. She has a smile that would light up a room. Her vocals are smooth as silk, with an aire of innocence and a hint of seduction. She’s a fellow Pennsylvanian and from the heart of Philadelphia (where I left to come to Knoxville). She’s already been through a marriage which ended up in divorce and is now apparently happily engaged to her drummer with whom she’s expecting her first child, a son (lucky duck). Apparently, she was discovered by Amir "QuestLove" Thompson of The Roots, another of my favorite groups of all time.
Most importantly, Jill has used her fame to do something bigger and better for the world. This includes the Blues Babe Foundation, a program founded to help young minority students pay for university expenses.
She’s a true SIZE-MOLOGY MUSE!

We may be bigger women, but we’re healthy and working to be happy in our own skin.
There are a few women out there who exemplify the fabulousness that women ARE beyond the number on their dress tag.
This is not an encouragement of abandoning a healthy lifestyle; but look, I’m a true German girl and I will probably never be a size 8.
So I’m celebrating my concept of size-mology and each week will introduce you to another full figured female that is making the earth shake just by being her fabulous self.
