My favorite MC of all time, a man who’s career I’ve followed since his days in Tribe and only became more entranced with with the beginning of his solo career (still wish they would have released Kamaal the Abstract album), is performing at this moment on VH1 Soulstages.  What a stunning performance by a man who’s artistry I’ve always admired wholeheartedly.  It’s being rebroadcast on this channel called Palladia, on DirecTV which features live performances.  His flow is still so beautifully smooth and his energy infectious.  He even “passed the mic” to a lucky audience member who did a great job of filling in the blanks.  It was an amazing performance and I am so happy we stumbled upon it tonight.  If you don’t have it already, The Renaissance is a sweet album and so infused with jazz and classic hip-hop stylings that I’m think it’s a wonderment.  Okay, yeah...I love this guy.  Check it out!
