G52GRP Group Project
WebPAS: Web-based Peer Assessment System
The aim of this group project is to develop a web-based peer assessment system that provides the following support:
-
1.The module convenor can create groups composed of individual students
-
2.Individual students can submit peer assessments of other group members
-
3.The module convenor can enter a group mark and automatically derive an individual mark based on peer assessments
-
4.The module convenor can change the weighting factors to derive a different set of marks.
The system’s key user requirements are as follows:
Module convenor requirements:
-
1.Create a peer assessment page for a specific module
-
2.Specify a cut off date for the submission of peer assessments
-
3.Create groups associated with the module
-
4.Import student name and I.D. from CSV file or add manually
-
5.Assign students to a module group by name and student I.D.
-
6.Delete students from a group
-
7.See a list-based overview of all groups
-
8.See groups that have not completed peer assessment
-
9.See a list-based overview of all members in a group
-
10.See individual students in a group who have not completed peer assessment
-
11.Enter a group mark
-
12.Automatically calculate individual marks for group members based on their peer assessment
-
13.Automatically recalculate individual marks across a group based on a new scaling of weighted assessment factors
-
14.Edit individual peer assessments
-
15.Export student name, I.D., group mark and peer assessed mark to CSV file
-
16.View graph of average mark and individual marks
-
17.Delete all peer assessments associated with a specific module
Student requirements:

-
