Bamboo Agave Tank
Bamboo Agave Tank
I first completed this piece back in the spring. I wrote down the pattern for my size and insisted I’d finish it up with sizes for other people very soon. Of course that didn’t happen until a few people on Ravelry commented that they’d like to see the pattern. That’s inspiration enough for me.
The lace in this pattern reminds me of the agave plants that are so abundant in Arizona. While living there I formed an attachment to their stately and heavy stalks, the graceful way they reach up with pointy needles.
I got this yarn by winning a bet and I’m completely in love. It’s South West Trading Company Bamboo in Murgahogany & it is soft and cool, with a beautiful drape. And the striated color is stunning. The photos can show you the lace, but you have to hold this yarn to really see the color.
