Cookit Live Radio Show

To celebrate the launch of the FREE Cookit resources from E2BN, Russell produced a live 5 hour radio show that was broadcast from Edworth Manor Barn in Bedfordshire. The barn is an original Tudor Barn. The show included interviews with the cast, and special guests Brian Greene, Sean O’Sullivan, Scott Hewitt, Gordon LaMond and the assistant chief architect at Hampshire CC Alec Gillies who has just won a major prize for the design of the Discovery Centre in Winchester. Great content in Russell’s usual fun and engaging style. This is Russell’s first OB on his new radio station equipment The Anderton Tiger Broadcaster. This podcast is an edited 3 hour version and is available with copyright music having been removed.

This special outside broadcast came from the E2BN Annual Conference at the Robinson Centre Wyboston Lakes in Bedfordshire. Featuring a Tudor cook and learner centred education experiences with online recipes “Cookit” resource from E2BN, children talking about their Gingerbread Cake baking, and the live radio workshop from that day with educators producing an excellent show. Also in the show, Bob Usher talking about Low Carbon London project freely available on the NEN and launching on 30th June 2009. E-Safety also featuring strongly in this show with interviews from Sally-Ann and Derek from Securus and a brilliant interview with Davina Stansfield - Head of ICT at Royal Alexandra & Albert School in Surrey. This show was first broadcast on Tuesday 23rd June 2009 at 5.00pm.
