Sue Bohlin, Director is a conductor, pianist, accompanist, vocal

coach, music director & composer. She has worked as an oboist and

pianist in Mexico City and taught at the Conservatorio Nacional de

Musica. Sue has worked with the internationally acclaimed

Piedmont East Bay Children’s Choir since 1984, and for a decade was

music director for the avant garde multi-media theater group

George Coates Performance Works in San Francisco.  She has

managed and performed with the Golden Gate International

Children’s and Youth Choral Festival, founded by her husband,

Robert Geary, and works with his professional choir, Volti on a

regular basis. Sue also freelances as keyboardist and accompanist with

a variety of Bay Area groups. Ms. Bohlin has performed on concert

stages in over 24 countries.  She graduated from the Conservatory of

Music at the University of the Pacific in northern California. 


Her original music and choral arrangements have been performed at

festivals in Washington and California and by choirs across the

country.

OUR PROJECT PERFORMANCE will be joined by Robert Geary’s Ancora (from Piedmont East Bay Children’s Choir) , Karl Young on Shakuhatchi (Japanese bamboo flute), and the Ernest Bloch Bell Ringers and featuring the premiere performance of Marty Regan’s Homework, Joselyn Malik, soloist
