Harold’s Right Eye
Harold’s Right Eye
Harold’s Right Eye is a Traditional Archery group based in Canberra, Australia. We train predominantly in the use of horsebows, longbows and flatbows with a particular emphasis on the history and culture related to these weapons.
Harold’s Right Eye is the archery corp of the Ancient Arts Fellowship which is a Dark Ages and Medieval re-enactment group also based in Canberra. Harold’s Right Eye was formed when a small group of us decided to take up historical archery. What began with just a handful of members has now grown and the Ancient Arts Fellowship has just as many archers as combatants.
We train with the Canberra Archers on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Sunday of every month, weather permitting, from 9am till midday. Field fees are $5 per session unless you are also a member of the Canberra Archers.
In addition to Sunday trainings, members of Harold’s Right Eye regularly compete at interstate traditional tournaments and historical reenactment events.
