The cardiovascular fellowship at East Carolina Heart Institute offers a dynamic three-year fully accredited training program in cardiovascular disease. Our program provides structured educational and clinical opportunities allowing fellows to acquire the knowledge, clinical skills and professional attitudes necessary to be excellent cardiovascular specialists. Our heart center allows fellows to learn and care for patients in state-of-the-art facilities.
A large clinical volume provides ample opportunity to learn diagnostic and management techniques as well as perfect procedural skills. All faculty have full time academic appointments and are committed to teaching. Research opportunities are plentiful including collaborative work with basic scientists.
