What is MBCBC?
A Bible College in the State of Andhra Pradesh in India, located in the suburbs of Hyderabad, the state's capital. The school, begun by missionaries, has a 90 year history of training leaders for churches in India. The full name is Mennonite Brethren Centenary Bible College. It offers Bible and Christian ministry courses leading to degrees in Bachelor of Theology and Bachelor of Divinity, courses accredited by the Senate of Serampore.
Who are friends of MBCBC?
Persons who share the vision of Christian training for pastors and evangelists, among whom are alumni and their families in India, churches within India, former missionaries and their families, Indians who have moved to North America, and persons and churches who lend their support, financially and prayerfully to the cause of Christian Higher Education for God's kingdom.
Who can join?
All those with a desire to enhance and enlarge Bible training programs in India. Joining does not involve any subscription or membership fees.
What about the college’s governance?
Denominationally the school is part of the Mennonite Brethren Church in India. Its administration, faculty and staff are responsible to the Governing Council of the Conference of the Mennonite Brethren church of India.
