Buschauer Portraits in Barrington, IL  primarily serves Chicago, its northwest, Northshore and Western suburbs including Palatine, Arlington Heights, Inverness, Kildeer, Crystal Lake, Lake Forest, Hinsdale, Glenview, However, we serve discerning clients from other states, and occasionally abroad.

Our niche is portraiture sized for wall decor. Imagine bringing a room to life with the loving energy from a portrait of yourself, your family and/or children and pets. Let our dedicated staff guide you every step of the way: from your initial planning meeting through the finished portrait.

Following a thoughtful free consultation to discuss exactly what you want for your portraits, you’ll meet with us again and experience a leisurely pleasant portrait session either on location or at our studio. 

Soon thereafter, you’ll relax in a big comfy chair with a soothing beverage as you view your portraits on a five foot screen in our state-of-the-art presentation room. It’s easy to make wise choices when you can clearly see facial expressions and have the benefit of previewing your prints in the actual sizes you wish to have.

We’ve been a fully digital studio since 2001 which has been a boon for our clients. Never before in photography has there been so much available in terms of styling, creativity and unrivaled retouching capabilities.
