SPIDERMAN FIGHTS CANCER

Our little spiderman with his incredible imagination has embarked on the battle of his life and has enlisted the big Spiderman to help him defeat the evil “Monster” APML Leukemia,

so why the site? The mission is 3 fold;

1.Many people who love Austin and wish to see him cannot do so given his immunocompromised state. The site offers a way for those that love him to see what he is going through, enjoy his playful spirit, and gain strength by watching him overcome all odds. Austin loves pictures and letters I show & read to him from family and friends, feel friend to send your love in this way and by offering prayers in his behalf; that he will have strength to beat this disease & that he will have comfort in the face of the painful side effects of Chemotherapy.

2.APML Leukemia is one of the more rare forms of the leukemia cancer but not unheard of, there may be individuals or parents of children recently diagnosed with APML leukemia that may want to know about the road ahead and learn more. Rather look at it as the experience of one little special guy going through the fight of his life.

3.To Raise Awareness, I had no idea about the warning signs of such a disease. Perhaps if just one person is more aware of the warning signs and it brings him or her to the knowledge that something may not be right and checking out the symptoms may end up saving a life. When it comes to AMPL Leukemia catching it early matters. Better safe than sorry
