The Naples Chapter of Ikenobo was chartered as a chapter in 2001; prior to that it was an organized study group for several years.  Currently, the chapter has over 50 members.  Dues for the chapter are $30 for students and $35 for teachers.  We offer two lessons per month from November through April.  The chapter also hosts three social events each year; a fall and spring coffee and an annual luncheon to award certificates to students as they progress in their Ikenobo learning.

Currently we have two qualified senseis (teachers) within our chapter teaching Ikenobo to our members, Stephanie English and Maureen Klingman.  We also have an outside Ikenobo sensei who comes to us 5-6 times a season to offer additional instruction.  Our lessons cost between $40 and $55 for two arrangements.  We meet on Wednesdays at the county park facility in the Vineyards community.  We arrive at 9AM to set up and begin our lessons at 9:30.  We enjoy a brown bag lunch together and begin to depart around 2PM.

Our 2011-2012 lessons packet will be mailed before Labor Day to all who were on our mailing list as of 8/1/2011.
